Currently servers are down until we can get the next release out, most info is outdated in the mean time, and the old Java based program no longer works. Hopefully we will have this resolved soon.
________
Here is where you find all the things you need to play the "game", as well as when they are updated:
We have a central server with one click match making and a good chunk of cards! It is a quite playable game at this point, although it is still in alpha.
Alpha 1.2.2: Windows Only! drive.google.com/open?id=1W39K3F5nzqZx70FKISAVeodHvpmumczI
Install Guide: drive.google.com/open?id=1pMRm2eSCuPufsc1oHGfyam8q2yjl2mSFyR13qAURC7g
Register any username and password on your first login by typing them into the appropriate boxes and clicking register. It will be saved on the server afterwards and you may login normally.
Registered accounts should be stable now, but if you have an issue making a new account may solve it.
______
Play Instructions:
One click match making is ready to go, although the server is not real populated so your best bet to get a match is to just let folks know in discord if you want to que!
Server issues still crop up here and there. Best to test the in game chat to see if you can chat before you try and Que.
If you do not get in game within 15 minutes you will time out and have to relog before you can start a game.
If you are having connection issues / chat is not working a weird solution we have found is to delete the config file found here:
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\projectcardboard\cardboard\1.0
You may have to repeat this step/make a new account if issues crop up again.
To make a deck you need to click the edit symbol to add and subtract cards, save it when your done, and remember to select an active deck from your collection by clicking the little game controller.
Factions are not hard coded, but we are encouraging a gentleman's agreement for sticking to a faction + Neutral, currently that may still be tricky but we will have enough cards to do it soon.
Merc generals should only be used with Merc minions, another gentlemans agreement for now.
Deck Size:
Minimum Deck Size is 5 excluding general.
Max: 40, excluding general.
The current standard for non testing play is 30 cards excluding general. It is our go to Gentleman's Agreement for general matchmaking at the moment.
Don't target illegal spaces, it will break the game.

Patch notes and extra details found down in the comments:
_______
Please leave feedback/testing over here: projectcardboard.freeforums.net/board/18/testing-feedback
We could also use help adding more cards to the game: projectcardboard.freeforums.net/thread/50/adding-cards-game
Remember to check your version info, you need to be on the most recent one to avoid issues:
