The Abyssian stand in. Should consist of skeletons, zombies, liches, ghosts, hordes, giant abominations, necromancy/dark/blood magic users, mad scientists, and grim scifi things like the borg and necrons. Focus is on summoning, reanimation, sacrificing units, vampiric effects, and various magic/science to fit the theme. Ideally both mechanically and lore wise. Remember for now we really want to focus on copying most of the core mechanics, so rather than dreaming up new cards, we should be focused on completely re-skinning existing ones. Please leave feedback for the faction direction, and ideas for names/art of a re-skinned card. A lot of starting work from Trihook: pastebin.com/22X7tPJg

Edit - Delete Jim Reed Feb 10 at 11:38 AM Sorry I forgot to change the nick I have too many aliases (Trihook/JimReed/RKT)
Anyway, I think I might have underused the maehv monsters, there's a clear bias towards pure undead and not enough eldritch in the list

I did manage to finish this up more or less, but the it's unuseable as the current projects don't need it. [EDIT: broke the formatting] The abyssan/undead faction can be divided into 3 flavours, by the general. Cassyva could be flavoured as a swamp/poison fog type of creature, with creep tiles being the main focus here. Lilithe is obviosuly a good fit for a Necromancer as she can raise skeletons (i.e. wraithlings) and her driving force is death (deathwatch, sacrifices etc). Maehv is more of a cthulu/chaos/demonic entity as she transforms one type of being into horror and fear beings (her bbs and abomination spell). Alternatively or additionally fungii might be considered as they thrive on decay.

Name: Toxzoa
Region description:A swamp covered in toxic mist. It's environment is unfriendly to normal life but the native inhabitants (and the dead) can thrive in it.The Toxzoan swamp also has a strange propriety that allows souls to roam free(or less free(only an expert in soul logic would truly know)).
Inhabitants:Demon frogs,insects,(other swamp wildlife?),Souls(in many shapes and sizes),corrupted life(people,animals),beings of pure darkness/poison
Units(check my art showcase for the visuals):
Cassyva Soulreaper-Venomin the Vile(Leader,Conqueror, wants to become a God)
Lilithe Blightchaser-Nekronim the Soul Guide
Maehv Skinsolder-Nightmare Weaver(WIP)
Abyssal Juggernaut-Mistwraith(the living embodiment of the toxic mist)
Shadow Watcher-Souleater Toad
Shadowdancer-Vampire Soulcannon
Bloodtide Priestess-Soul Herder
Nekronim's backstory:"Not all of Toxzoa used to be like this,a toxic corrupted mess. Some of it used to be a place where normal people could live peaceful lives.Among these people there was a man,a kind soul.He was a man who would pray for the souls that lost their way.It all changed when the Toxzoan forces of Venomin(the frog) attacked. The air was filled with a toxic mist, the ground was turned into corrupted mud.Things looked grim in the peaceful land except for the one man. While everyone's skin was melting, flesh was rotting, and their bones laid there waiting to become an ornament on the body of some poor Toxzoan,he noticed nothing, except for a sudden affinity for poison and the company of many lost souls. This day the man became known as Nekronim,as he began guiding souls through the afterlife .Nekronim always wanted to have children...and now he has many .... many children..."

Just a heads up, since we are trying to avoid legal problems maybe consider changing Venomin's name since it is very similar to "Venominon king of poisonous snakes" a Yu-Gi-Oh card and the wanting to become a god is also similar to "Venominaga deity of poisonous snakes" another Yu-Gi-Oh card.
Tldr: change Venomin's name to avoid possible issues with Konami
