The Lyonar stand in.
Should consist of paladins, knights, clerics, holy magic, futuristic medicine and defensive technology.
Focus is on tanky units, healing, and formations. Ideally both mechanically and lore wise.
Remember for now we really want to focus on copying most of the core mechanics, so rather than dreaming up new cards, we should be focused on completely re-skinning existing ones. Please leave feedback for the faction direction, and ideas for names/art of a re-skinned card.

Name:Kingdom of the Sun Description: "Welcome to the Kingdom of the sun!The land of crazy lunatics(solatics?).The home of shiny armor, the color yellow and sun obsession."Location:"This kingdom lays in the middle of the sunny plains which are in the middle of the known world(There may be stuff beyond the mountains,we never checked) Kingdom:"The kingdom itself (which I'm currently in) is known for its massive structures and the odd things atop those structures(They have a ##### giant mirror used to shine sunlight on people). The peoples main activity is praising the sun(Everyone's doing it).As for what people you can find here:Knights, healers, royalty, sun priests, light mages, blacksmiths(and anything sun related). The inside of their buildings(which I'm entering)is massive. You could fit a whole town in here(they probably did)."
Corasi:"I climb up the stairs to reach a balcony so I can reflect on why I came here.People are giving me weird looks(probably because I'm not obsessed with the sun).I arrive at a balcony and realize I'm standing next to Corasi, head sun priest. What's with the sad face? Maybe the 7000 years of bad luck from not praising the sun.(that's the impression I got from the people's looks) Why are you here if you do not wish to? I'm here for knowledge...why are you nice to me? A healer does not judge ... a healer heals.anyways I wish you good luck! And so I left the sun kingdom and never came back!"

I know it's not exactly paladins and knights but i was thinking of an aztec/empire of the sun mix (See Kotal Kahn from MK or the Sun Empire from MTG's Ixalan). Lyonar has a lot dealing damage and healing (Holy Inmolation, Circle of Life and Martyrdom to name a few examples) which could be represented with blood sacrifices in exchange of solar blessings.
Argeon could become a Jaguar Warrior or Eagle Warrior, representing the military arm of the Kingdom of the Sun. (Again Kotal Kahn is a reference) Zir'an could become a Priestess of the Sun, representing the holy part of the Kingdom of the Sun. (Search MTG's Kinjalli's Caller or Priest of the Wakening Sun for some references)
Heck, if you wanted to go that far into Ixalan you could change the Lion theme for the Dinosaur theme.

When I think about Lyonar first thing that strikes my mind is the Lion part, but isnt necessary to be Lion people armor. Most of people in the Lyonar are Black people I guess this would be an indispensable thing as to what "Lore" is all about, however the white/yellow/blue themed arent indispensable, is Since the pure black color usually attracts the sun and the heat it could be themed in that way instead of white/yellow. Black with tones of gray for the armors maybe¿ (Argeon could be a palid white hair general with a massive black armor to contrast with most of people. Covered in scars and those things) The Ironcliffe Guardian could stil be a massive construct but instead of a round form he could come in some sorts of blocks with two big solar panels things on his arms instead of the Lyon guardbracers that he has. In contrast with all of that a Yellow cape for some constructs and generals (Alabaster Titan, Pureblade Enforcer, Second Sun, Scintilla, Argeon, etc) would be a nice form of contrast the whole black themed warriors. Also, instead of Lions could be Wolves since the whole gameplay of Lyonar revolves on the idea of using the whole deck as a whole instead of buffing one card till this can delete the enemy general. Wolfclaw Kingdom¿ Althougt, this idea may be weird since Wolves and the Moon, ehhh, Roosters or my personal favorite for this faction, Rams Following this Ideology the silverguard Knight may have 2 f big shields that at the same time are some kind of solar panel and his helmet has horns representing the Ram Idea Idk, just seemed right for me. However just ideas after all

I almost forgot to mention that the Lyonars are mostly black people because of their exposure to the sun (Although I think it is over understood) And some people fade from the sun (That's why I suggested the idea of a pale Argeon)

I really enjoy this idea, and it sounds similar to the Aztec theme used for the Sun Elves from The Dragon Prince. I would also lean more heavily into the Aztec philosophy of balance than just blood sacrifices. I'm not saying to ignore the blood sacrifice idea, but just to play with it more. The Aztecs believed balance was key to walking a happy life, and paying that debt with your life points seems fitting. We could name cards after some of those concepts, like "Slippery Earth" since the Aztecs associated moral wrong-doing with the earth. Alternatively, you could name a board wipe "Fifth Sun" since the Aztecs organized their eras by "suns," and the fifth sun was supposed to be the last era that would end with the final destruction of humanity.
